  1. Developer Platform

Device

The Device tab enables administrators to manage and monitor all registered devices within the platform. The table provides a detailed overview of each device, including its deviceId, Name, App Name, Model, and current Status. Administrators can easily track whether a device is Active and view its Online Status and the Last Connected timestamp.

Live Data#

When a user wants to view the live data packets of a device, they need to click the Live Data button. This side drawer will direct them to the live data associated with the selected device, which may include various tabs such as Parsed Data, Converted Data, and Raw Data. Each tab presents the data in different formats or levels of detail, giving users real-time insights into the device's performance or status based on the data packets being received. This feature allows for easy monitoring and analysis of device data as it streams in.

Last Packet#

If a user wants to view the last packet data from a device, they need to click the Last Packet button. This will display detailed information about the device's most recent data packet, including key metrics such as speed, engine hours, odometer reading, park time, GSM strength, location strength, and battery voltage. Additionally, the packet displays detailed I/O and calibration values in a table format. This functionality helps users to monitor the latest status and performance metrics of a device, providing real-time data for tracking and analysis.

Deactivate or Activate#

When an administrator initiates a device deactivation or activation, a confirmation dialog appears, prompting the user to provide a reason for the connection change. This step ensures that the action is intentional and provides a record for auditing purposes. The administrator can either cancel the action or proceed by submitting the reason. Upon submission, the system processes the request and updates the device's status accordingly, either deactivating or activating the device based on the action initiated.
